Sorting in Early Years

We have been busy sorting many different items these past few weeks.  Sorting helps children differentiate and begin to classify objects according their to attributes (colour, size, shape, texture).  You can encourage your child to sort objects around the house such as cutlery, socks, laundry, coins, food and toys.  Look at our great minds at work.....
