We have been discussing different types of birds, where they build their nests and what materials their nests are made from.
On Friday, we went for a scavenger hunt in our playground to find some materials to build nests with. We compiled all our findings and are eager to build the nests on Monday! One student suggested we put the nests outside to see if any birds want to use them!
We just might try that!
We discovered that there were a lot of dandelions outside right now. Some children liked the yellow flower while others went straight for the "wish dandelions". What joy to blow the seeds out into the air to make hundreds of MORE dandelions!!!
