Happy December!

We are so excited that we are into December!  Everyone is counting down the days to our winter break with our family and friends.  In the classroom, we have continued to discuss animals in the winter.  We have learned that some animals hibernate, some migrate and some simply stay in their environment but do special things to adapt to the cold.  Take a look at our learning from this week...

Thank you to all parents who helped their children with the Leader of the Day activity...Making a poster with the first letter of your child's name.  Below are just a few samples of the wonderful posters that decorate our classroom wall!

This month's Leader of the Day activity is the Estimation Jar.  Your child will bring the jar home on the night before his/her leader day.  If you do not see your child's name on the December calendar, it will be on the January calendar.

We once again made it to 25 stars with our team work!  We earned cookies and hot chocolate.  Here's some photos of the children making sugar cookies with our co-op student from the University and then enjoying the party afterwards!
